Who inspects your site’s fall protection equipment? Are they certified?
If your organization employs the use of North American made fall protection equipment (ANSI or CSA certified) then you have an obligation to ensure that the equipment is inspected and documented by a Competent Fall Protection Equipment Inspector (other than the user) on a regular basis.
When does the fall protection equipment need to be inspected?
Most manufacturers require that their equipment is inspected by a Competent Inspector on either an annual or semi-annual basis. This may be a more frequent requirement depending on the usage and operating environment for the equipment.
What is a Blended Learning Program?
A blended learning program is an educational approach that combines online educational materials and activities with traditional classroom methods. This means that students learn both independently and collaboratively, using a variety of digital and physical resources.
Here are some of the key characteristics of blended learning programs:
- Flexibility: Students can learn at their own pace and in their own time, which can be especially helpful for those who have busy schedules or learning disabilities.
- Personalized learning: Teachers can tailor the program to meet the individual needs of each student, which can help students to learn more effectively.
- Increased engagement: Students are more likely to be engaged in their learning when they are using a variety of methods and resources.
- Improved collaboration: Students have more opportunities to collaborate with their peers, both online and in person.
- Deeper understanding: Blended learning programs can help students to develop a deeper understanding of the material by providing them with multiple ways to learn it.
How long will the course take?
The program will vary depending on your own pace, but on average – it will take approx. 7-9 hours to complete.
